About the Team
You’ll work with a small, product-minded engineering team building AI systems for real enterprise workflows. The team is deliberately cross-functional: product, AI, frontend, platform, and design decisions are made close to the work instead of being passed between isolated layers. We care about clear thinking, fast iteration, strong ownership, and production quality. That means we expect engineers to understand the user problem, shape the technical approach, ship carefully, measure what happens, and improve the system after it reaches production.
About the Role
In this role, you’ll shape the LLM layer of BriqMind’s enterprise intelligence platform. We are not looking for someone who only writes prompts; we are looking for an engineer who thinks about agent behavior, retrieval quality, tool-use reliability, evaluation loops, and production observability together. You’ll work across model selection, context design, structured outputs, failure tolerance, latency, and cost so users can trust AI experiences inside real business workflows.
What You’ll Do
- Design, measure, and ship LLM-based agent workflows into production.
- Improve retrieval, prompting, tool-use, and memory layers with measurable quality targets.
- Make hallucination, latency, cost, and safety metrics observable and actionable.
- Work with product, frontend, and platform teams to deliver end-to-end AI capabilities.
You Might Thrive Here If You
- Practical experience with LLM APIs, function calling, tool-use, and structured outputs.
- Strong understanding of retrieval systems, embeddings, chunking, reranking, and evaluation.
- Production habits around logging, tracing, testing, rollout safety, and reliability.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable backend or AI services in TypeScript or Python.
- Experience with LangGraph, Vercel AI SDK, OpenAI evals, or similar evaluation tooling.
- Experience with multi-agent systems, workflow engines, or enterprise search.
- Work on model routing, caching, cost optimization, or AI platform reliability.
